Amber joined the Stirling team February 2016 after graduating from Murdoch University WA in 2015. Amber is another second-generation chiropractor, who learnt the “chiropractic benefits and the body’s amazing ability to heal itself drug free” first hand from her father Dr Bradley Grant. She became a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia (CAA) and the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia (COCA) whilst in her fourth year at university.
Amber worked hard at university to get where she is today, achieving overall Dux of 3rd and 4thyear chiropractic science. Whilst studying at Murdoch she also put in time at Fremantle CBC Amateur football club acting as “team chiropractor”. Through working here she increased her knowledge of sports-related mechanical soft tissue injuries and became more passionate about the prevention of such ailments in sportsmen and women. Amber enjoys doing Pilates most days of the week, which has given her a better understanding of the importance of core strength and stretching on the body, information that she happily shares with her patients.
Having received chiropractic treatment from her first few years of life, Amber believes in the importance of providing chiropractic care from a young age through to adulthood, recognising the positive influence it has had on her own general and spinal health. She has a firm belief in encouraging her patient’s to be active in their treatment, using chiropractic techniques to reduce pain, while also providing patient’s with advice and the means to prevent the reoccurrence of injury and maintain a high level of wellbeing.
