Hazel graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2005 with a Batchelor of Science with Honours degree. She started Highland and National Scottish Dancing at age 3 ½ and went on to achieve all exam levels up to the age of 16. Hazel has felt that the knowledge she knew about feet and legs from these years lead to her basis and interest in Podiatry.
Hazel has joined the practice from Scotland from a Specialist National Health Service position where she had a keen interest in patients with long term health conditions with her key aim of maintaining good foot health. Hazel has a keen interest in CPR for feet (Check, Protect and Refer when necessary) giving her patients the knowledge to know what to look for and for them to be able to maintain excellent foot health.
Hazel’s foot knowledge is broad and she enjoys treating all Podiatry issues from paediatrics all the way through to minor surgery.
Hazel enjoys spending her down time with her Partner Aaron and their adopted deaf dog Xena who’s still a handful at the age of 16 months! Since making the trip over to Australia Hazel and her partner have enjoyed discovering Western Australia camping and are getting to grips with the rules of AFL going along to see West Coast at their home ground.
