You do not require a medical referral (except for veteran affairs) and chiropractic care is recognised by all private health funds with varying rebates dependent upon your individual level of cover. Worker’s Compensation and Motor Vehicle Injury Claim patients are also entitled to seek chiropractic treatment without referral. However in worker’s compensation claims, an ‘off work’ certificate is required to be issued by a GP.

A referral is needed Worker’s Compensation and Motor Vehicle Injury Claim patients seeking physiotherapy, podiatry or occupational therapy.

At Stirling Health Professionals we do like to make appointments available to all our valued patients so we require 24 hours notice on cancellation of appointment otherwise a fee may be charged.
