Samantha Whiteaker has had an interest in remedial massage for some years and has now taken the opportunity to work in that field. She was previously employed as a personal assistant with an international engineering company for ten years. Samantha commenced studying at the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2016 and obtained her Diploma of Remedial Massage in March 2017. She is a member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia and is interested in continued education of massage to enhance her skill set.
Providing a healing treatment that can be gentle, strong, deep or shallow, Sam can identify muscles and tendons that are damaged or impaired, knotted, tense or immobile. She uses her knowledge of massage to holistically treat the body and trace pain and discomfort back to the original cause, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as its symptoms.
Since joining the Stirling Health Professionals team in May 2017, Sam has gotten married and has welcomed her first grandchild. She loves many sports and has worked as a volunteer masseur at various sporting events. She is also presently working as a volunteer for cancer patients.
